This front garden in the suburb of Ashfield was inspired by the client’s love of the bush in western NSW, where she spent her childhood. The Landscape was designed and built in 2015 and brings so much pleasure by creating a tiny piece of wildness for the owners and passersby, on this inner city street.

The brief was for a minimalist garden with a naturalistic feel, to not be over planted, so the shapes and forms of the plants are visible. Large sandstone boulders were included for added texture and the whole garden is planted directly into the Deco Granite.
