Haberfield is a suburb known for manicured gardens, tree lined streets and heritage listed homes, the European influence is still strong and it was important to the clients to be sympathetic to Haberfield’s status as a garden suburb. Therefore this front garden was designed with a Mediterranean feel making it integrate into the streetscape, which reflects Haberfield’s Italian aesthetic.
The art deco water feature is a family heirloom and has been given a new lease of life in this formal native garden, it is positioned where it can be enjoyed upon entry and also from the study window inside.
