This waterfront bush block in Yowie Bay is very steep, with a fall of over 30 metres from the front boundary to the rear. The new house has been designed to take advantage of the slope and is spread out over many levels and includes four rooftop gardens. The clients wanted to maintain a connection to the bush and the majestic Angophora costata species which overhang and encase the house.
The bare concrete walls of the home are softened by the native planting which surrounds the residence on five sides, whist also providing green outlooks from the many windows.
